Assistance Dog Team Cynthia and Thor
Cynthia Good and Thor graduated as an Assistance Dog team on March 4, 2000 in Frenchtown, New Jersey. Dogs In Service Director, Susan Greenbaum and board member Ty Sanders gave Thor his official vest and then "presented" him to Cynthia who rewarded him with a hug.

Thor began his official duties right away, helping Cynthia distribute thank-you gifts to people who had helped with Thor's training. Then the two "marched forth" to meet their friends and colleagues who had gathered to celebrate the event.

Being part of an assistance dog team is not all work. Cynthia and Thor are close companions - Thor often gets invited up for a tummy rub and a hug.
