Wow! We're Walking 


Loose lead lessons for persistent pullers!   Do you feel like your arms are being stretched? Does is feel like your dog is in training for the Iditarod (sled dog race?) Does your dog lunge and pull towards other dogs? Would your dog like to run and greet everyone she sees, even if that involves dragging your through the mud? Are you worried about becoming airborne on windy days? If you answered "yes" to any of the questions above then this class is just what your chiropractor ordered. We have a variety of collars and harnesses that can help you take back control of your daily walks. Your dog will have more fun if they get to walk with you more often. And you're more likely to take them if walks are a pleasure, not a pain!

Requirements
  • The dog should be wearing a martingale, limited slip or greyhound sytle collar
  • Please bring a six foot lead PLUS a four foot lead to each class.

Rules and Regulations

  • NO DOGS WILL BE PERMITTED ON THE PREMISES WITHOUT A COPY OF CURRENT IMMUNIZATION RECORDS
  • The same handler must handle the dog for the whole set of classes
  • Dogs must have current identification (ID tag) on their collars
  • Read the complete Barking Hills Rules and Regulations
  • Since we close our classes when full, there are no refunds once you have paid for class.

Holiday and Weather Closings

  • Please call (908) 996-9911 two hours before the start of your class to check for weather related closings. If classes have been cancelled, the machine will have a message stating so, otherwise, classes are on schedule.
  • Barking Hills is closed Independence Day weekend (July 4-6), Labor Day week: (September 1-6), Thanksgiving (November 27-30), Winter Holidays (December 24-January 1) and Memorial Day week (May 21st -26th - Join us at Camp Barking Hills!)

Session: 3 classes (the last will be outdoors, weather permitting)
