Calming the Crazy Canine Seminar

Is your dog driving you crazy? Are you the owner of "The Energizer Bunny"? Does your dog steal things, climb on the furniture, bank off the walls, jump on your company and run in circles around the living room? Learn great strategies for keeping your pet safe and busy while he or she learns to behave calmly and quietly in your home. Great for the "Crazy Canine" and all dogs who love to play. Strategies for creative play, problem solving and environment enrichment will be discussed. Learn how and why dogs play and explore -- and use it all to your advantage. Dogs who get enough mental stimulation don't steal stuff, rip things up, bark, whine or "act crazy." They aren't digging holes in the yard or tearing the siding off your house! Please leave your dog at home but bring your questions.

Rules and Regulations

  • NO DOGS WILL BE PERMITTED ON THE PREMISES WITHOUT A COPY OF CURRENT IMMUNIZATION RECORDS
  • The same handler must handle the dog for the whole set of classes
  • Dogs must have current identification (ID tag) on their collars
  • Read the complete Barking Hills Rules and Regulations
  • Since we close our classes when full, there are no refunds once you have paid for class.

Holiday and Weather Closings

  • Please call (908) 996-9911 two hours before the start of your class to check for weather related closings. If classes have been cancelled, the machine will have a message stating so, otherwise, classes are on schedule.
  • Barking Hills is closed Independence Day weekend (July 4-6), Labor Day Camp: (September 3-6), Columbus Day Camp (Oct 9), Thanksgiving (November 24-28), Winter Holidays (December 24-January 2), Martin Luther King Day (Jan 18) and Memorial Day week (May 21st -23rd - Join us at Camp Barking Hills!)
