Puppy Parenting Seminar

Being a puppy parent is a tough job; but you can avoid many of the common errors and pitfalls that go along with puppy raising. Learn about the stages of your pup's development, what to expect, and how to create a safe home environment for your pup. Get started on some basic relationship-building with your pup that will help him understand the rules of your house -- and keep everyone happy. Please leave your puppy at home but bring the whole family for no additional fee!  If you bring children under the age of 10 please bring something for them to do - like a book or gameboy.

Rules and Regulations

  • NO DOGS WILL BE PERMITTED ON THE PREMISES WITHOUT A COPY OF CURRENT IMMUNIZATION RECORDS
  • The same handler must handle the dog for the whole set of classes
  • Dogs must have current identification (ID tag) on their collars
  • Read the complete Barking Hills Rules and Regulations
  • Since we close our classes when full, there are no refunds once you have paid for class.

Holiday and Weather Closings

  • Please call (908) 996-9911 two hours before the start of your class to check for weather related closings. If classes have been cancelled, the machine will have a message stating so, otherwise, classes are on schedule.
  • Barking Hills is closed Independence Day weekend (July 4-6), Labor Day week: (September 1-6), Thanksgiving (November 27-30), Winter Holidays (December 24-January 1) and Memorial Day week (May 21st -26th - Join us at Camp Barking Hills!)

Cost: $25 (or combine it with all four lectures plus
Puppy Kindergarten  or Small Dog/Puppy Agility in the Puppy Package for $200.00)
