Pet Tricks

Stupid pet tricks for smart pets!  Fun stuff for you and your dog.  Counting, jumping through hoops, dog bowling and more!   Great for dogs who have children at home, are easily bored, participate in Animal Assisted Activity/Animal Assisted Therapy programs, or just like to strut their stuff!

Take one or take them all!  Each class is three sessions.

Pet Tricks One includes:  Take a bow, jump through a hoop, weave between the handler's legs, close the door, crawl and more!

And/Or

Pet Tricks Two includes:  Wipe your nose, say your prayers, ring the bell, open the door, and more!

And/Or

Pet Tricks Three includes: Spin, hug, dance and more!

Instructor:  Various  3 Sessions

Requirements
  • No requirements but taking the Shaping Class certainly helps!
  • A Basic Obedience class is recommended

Rules and Regulations

  • NO DOGS WILL BE PERMITTED ON THE PREMISES WITHOUT A COPY OF CURRENT IMMUNIZATION RECORDS
  • The same handler must handle the dog for the whole set of classes
  • Dogs must have current identification (ID tag) on their collars
  • Read the complete Barking Hills Rules and Regulations
  • Since we close our classes when full, there are no refunds once you have paid for class.

Holiday and Weather Closings

  • Please call (908) 996-9911 two hours before the start of your class to check for weather related closings. If classes have been cancelled, the machine will have a message stating so, otherwise, classes are on schedule.
  • Barking Hills is closed Independence Day weekend (July 4-6), Labor Day week: (September 1-6), Columbus Day (Oct 12), Thanksgiving (November 26-29), Winter Holidays (December 24-January 3), Martin Luther King Day (Jan 18) and Memorial Day week (May 21st -26th - Join us at Camp Barking Hills!)
