Basic Obedience for the Family Pet - Level Two

This class builds on and refines basic obedience skills and manners, with a focus on developing pet behaviors that are envied by relatives, neighbors and friends. Your dog will learn to "mind their manners" at home and in public, and stay focused on the task at hand even with temptations and distractions.

Requirements
  • For "teenage" and adult dogs 6 months and up at the start of class
  • We recommend  completion of Basic Level One prior to taking Basic Level Two

Rules and Regulations

  • NO DOGS WILL BE PERMITTED ON THE PREMISES WITHOUT A COPY OF CURRENT IMMUNIZATION RECORDS
  • The same handler must handle the dog for the whole set of classes
  • Dogs must have current identification (ID tag) on their collars
  • Read the complete Barking Hills Rules and Regulations
  • Since we close our classes when full, there are no refunds once you have paid for class.

Holiday and Weather Closings

  • Please call (908) 996-9911 two hours before the start of your class to check for weather related closings. If classes have been cancelled, the machine will have a message stating so, otherwise, classes are on schedule.
  • Barking Hills is closed Independence Day weekend (July 4-6), Labor Day week: (September 1-6), Columbus Day (Oct 12), Thanksgiving (November 26-29), Winter Holidays (December 24-January 3), Martin Luther King Day (Jan 18) and Memorial Day week (May 21st -26th - Join us at Camp Barking Hills!)

Session: 6 classes
Class Times: Mondays 6:30pm - 7:15pm
Fridays 9:00pm - 9:45pm
Saturdays 9:00am - 9:45am
