Camp Barking Hills places the
greatest emphasis on the health and safety of our dogs.
We want all our campers to have a safe and happy
experience.
Reminders:
All
dogs that are on campus or are at any off-site location,
whether participating or observing must have a completed veterinary clearance on file with Camp Barking
Hills.
Please
review the refund policy before you register for
camp.
Please
remember that each instructor has the final say on
whether and how much a dog may participate. This is for
the health and safety of all dogs and campers.
Please
review our Camp Rules which include ...
All
dogs must be housetrained, reasonably well socialized and
non-aggressive towards people.
Dogs
who "need their space" around other dogs are
required to wear a red bandana.
Campers
may bring a maximum of two dogs. Each dog must have a
separate handler when participating in camp activities -
you may only handle one dog at a time. The other dog
needs to be safely restrained in a crate or by someone
not participating in the event/activity.
All
dogs must be kept crated or on lead when in public areas.
Campers
are responsible for cleaning up after their dogs
IMMEDIATELY whether on campus or off site.
Dogs
ABSOLUTELY cannot be left loose and unattended in your
room.
Dogs
cannot be left in cars as cars can become dangerously hot
very quickly.
This is
a camp primarily for adults. Any campers must be a
minimum of 14 years of age on the first day of camp.
Sorry,
no dogs in heat permitted at camp.
Please
bring a copy of your dog's license for our files.
At our
discretion, we reserve the right to expel any camper or
dog without refund.
