Accommodations
2009

You may commute or "sleep over" at Camp Barking Hills.  There are two options if you want to stay on or near campus:

1) On campus housing, dormitory style, is available. In each room, there are two twin beds so rooms can accommodate two humans with a total of four dogs. There are shared bathrooms. Please supply bed linens, pillows and towels for yourself and your dogs.  If you need to bathe or rinse your dog, you may have your dog bathed or bathe your dog yourself at:  Scrub A-Dub-Doggie in Hackettstown (908) 813-9990.  Dormitory space is limited so please reserve your room early.

  • There are soda and snack machines in each dormitory

  • Dormitories are two story with no elevator

  • Dormitories have heat, but no air-conditioning

  • No dogs may, at any time, be left in the room uncrated. No exceptions.

  • Dogs may not be bathed or rinsed off in the dormitory bathrooms

  • All furniture used by the dog must be covered with a sheet or covering supplied by the camper.  Please bring something to put UNDER your crates to prevent any damage to the floor.

  • All dormitories are non-smoking.

  • No alcohol is permitted in the dormitories.

  • Dormitories are considered "quiet zones" so please respect the 10pm quiet curfew.

  • If you want to be near a friend's room, please arrive for your dormitory assignments together and best efforts will be made to place you as close as possible.

  • Centenary College reserves the right to inspect any room at any time.

There is a $100.00 damage deposit required on all rooms. Deposit will be refunded by mail after the close of camp providing the room is left in the condition it was received.
