Karin Damon
took one of the
first classes at Barking Hills country club years ago
with her Golden Retriever, Keebler who earned his
Versatility Title (Agility, Obedience & Tracking) in
March of 2006. She has since progressed to being
the proud owner of Goldens Dax (whom you may have seen on
SNL or the Claritin commercial among other
advertisements) and newest member of the family, Derby.
Karin is presently competing and has titled in
agility, obedience and tracking. She is currently teaching K9
Nosework as well as running trials and judging. Karin is the Head
Athletic Trainer at Centenary College, and was selected
to work at the 1996 Atlanta Olympic Games in the
equestrian venue. Karin became certified as a Pet
Tech First Aid and CPR Instructor in San Diego, CA.
She is also working to complete her Canine Rehabilitation
Certification from the University of Tennessee. |

Denise Garber
has been the handling
Instructor for Barking Hills Country Club for the past five years,
Denise is an active conformation competitor and she and her students
can be found out and about almost any weekend. Whether you are a
novice handler, experienced handler or just want your dog to get
more ring experience - Denise can help your dog look his or her best
in the show ring. |

Susan D.
Greenbaum is the owner of Barking Hills Country Club Barking Hills trains and handles dogs
for film, commercials and television including
Saturday Night Live. She is the Executive
Director of Dogs In Service, Inc. (DIS) a not for profit
company that trains a limited amount of Service Dogs for
people with disabilities and runs a supervised, goal
oriented and documented Animal Assisted Therapy program
at St. Josephs Childrens hospital. One of the
DIS service dogs and three therapy dogs have been given
awards by the New Jersey Veterinary Foundation. |

Susan and Storm
winning a First in Obedience at the Hunterdon
Hills Kennel Club, August 8, 1993 - the first leg
towards the title of Companion Dog. Storm was
just eleven months old and remained undefeated in
Novice. |
|
In 2001 Ms. Greenbaum
received the Governor’s Volunteer Award for Services to Youth for the
program at St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital and in 2004 received the New
Jersey Veterinary Foundation Award for her work in Animal Assisted
Therapy. She is a frequent speaker on goal oriented, documented &
supervised Animal Assisted Therapy. Ms. Greenbaum is one of the founding
members of the Northeast Crisis Coalition – Animal Assisted Crisis
Response. Susan lives with a Shetland
Sheepdog, a Chesapeake Bay Retriever, a Doberman Pinscher and any number
of Assistance Dogs in training.

Donna Luzzo
has
been teaching classes at Barking Hills Country Club for more than five years, and
also serves as the trainer for the Hunterdon County Paws
4H club. She has participated in and/or competed in
conformation, competition obedience, rally obedience, animal
assisted therapy and animal assisted crisis response. She
also dabbles in agility, lure coursing and anything else
that looks like fun! Donna sometimes works as a dog
handler for television and various advertising formats,
with credits including Saturday Night Live, Late Night
with Conan O'Brien, Martha Stewart - The Apprentice, All
My Children, One Live to Live, The Gap, Purina Pro Plan,
Adobe, Febreeze, Anthopologie, Target, Claritin and many
more. She shares her world with four Miniature Pinschers,
Ebony, Winnie, Sebastian and Janey. |
