Interested in Joining the
Northeast Crisis Response
Coalition?
Q: I want
to join with my dog! How do I proceed?
A: The NCRC is a coalition of organizations, not individuals.
Individuals are encouraged to participate through their Animal Assisted
Therapy/Animal Assisted Activity organization.
Q: What if I don't belong to any organization?
A: We encourage you to join an Animal Assisted Activity or
Animal Assisted Therapy organization and, through that organization,
participate with the NCRC. If you need more information, please go
to our Member's pages. If you are outside our geographic area
Dog-Play
has a good list of organizations that participate in Animal Assisted
Activities and Animal Assisted Therapy.
Q: Our
organization has done some Crisis Response work in the past. We
went under our own banner and our members want to stay under our
umbrella.
A: Your organization is encouraged to join the NCRC.
When you supply a "unit" of your members, they maintain their identity
as members of your organization. They wear your organization's
logo or gear and act as members of your organization. They stay
under your organization's supervision while acting under the umbrella of
the NCRC. Please contact us for more information on how the
coalition is structured.
Q: How
does my organization get more information?
