Barking Hills Country Club is a place designed to give dog owners and their pets somewhere to learn, work and play. Our goal is to give every dog owner the opportunity to learn about the many different types of performance events and activities that they can share with their dog and give them a chance to sample these activities.

What's New?

Canine Freestyle!  Whether you have two left feet or are light on your feet, join us and enhance your relationship while having fun. 

Have a dog that goes non-stop?  Take a look at Treibball!  It's the new dog sport import from Germany.  Got a herding breed, a problem solver or just a dog who likes to chase stuff?  Any breed can play! 
You won't need a lot of room or equipment to make a tired, happy dog. 

Try Scent Games!  It's  new for dogs of all breeds and dogs of many breeds.  Let your dog use her nose to learn and have fun while getting physical and mental exercise - a tired dog is a happy dog!  No obedience training necessary!

We know that a well trained dog is a joy to own so we offer classes for the family pet. Perhaps you will enjoy training your dog so much that you will go on to enter an obedience competition with your dog.

Some dogs and their handlers like to give back to their community and participate in Animal Assisted Activity/Therapy programs that visit hospitals, nursing homes, chronic and acute care centers. You can learn more about A.A.T. and Assistance/Service Dogs by visiting Dogs In Service.
